'Vayuputra', Kannadada 'Gundu' alias 'Gandu': Review

Yet another new hero has entered Sandalwood, can you guess…? Yes absolutely right..! He is Chiranjeevi Sarja, nephew of Arjun Sarja. Sure not like other new ‘talents’, Chiranjeevi has performed well…..

Balu(Chiranjeevi Sarja), a medical student goes to Mangalore for his friend’s engagement, where he falls in love with his friend’s sister Divya(Andrita Rai). In Mangalore Balu bashes the don Bharath Ponja(Ajay), which makes Bharath to take revenge against Balu, by the time he takes revenge, Balu goes back to his native Mandya(not because of panic). Ponja follows Balu to squeeze him, no he can’t because of he is not a lollypop guy, but a smart guy. Ambarish as Chowde Gowda, father of Balu has done his work, which reminds his acting in ‘Tandeke Takka Maga’. Climax sure fight, sight, meanwhile love, dove, songs, comedy……

As said Chiranjeevi Sarja with required knowledge has entered sandalwood, which is good news, he is superb from acting to fighting, but yet to know more to do emotional scenes. Andrita Rai has Divya is lovely n cute, Ambarish has done his work, Ajay and other leading actors are good. Late Kishore Sarja has done a great job by directing ‘Vayuputra’, but his untimely death has made huge loss to film industry, music by V.Harikrishna is not much good, two songs are ok, dialogues, sceneries, are positive part of ‘Vayuputra’.

Overall ‘Vayuputra’ is wonderful……So don’t……
