Road Romeo, only for you -Review

After two years in the making, Dilip Pai debutsin Road Romeo, for which his brother Nandakumar has poured in the moolah. Director Om Sai Prakash directing a newcomer for the first time, has stuffed enough of commercial ingredients. But unlike most of his films, it is not a remake, but a stitching of sense, stories, jokes and stunts from a dozen different films. But he has presented it as a whole making the film watchable. If anything, Dilip shows the capacity for a long stint in the industry.

The story is not new. An educated youngster shrugs off family responsibilities until spurned by love starts to work for a living. The recent Prem starer Pallakki, had a similar drift.

Dilip(Dilip Pai) is a degree holder and waiting for a ‘Big' job that is not coming his way. He spends time with friends playing pranks and enjoying life. Along comes Anjali(Ashita) and it is time for this road romeo to fall in love. It is a smooth sailing until the girl castigates him in public for still depending on his parents.

ow Romeo turns a responsible son and starts earning. Then a few twists and turns end in a happy climax. Dilip sticks to his promise. His acting is no effortless but not strained either. He excels in action scenes. Lyricist and music director KM Indra has done a commendable job. Overall the film is not a pushover and worth a watch.
