Prem....."Kahini": Review 

‘Star’ director Chandru, said that ‘Prem Kahani’ is not a fresh story, but a old story, said differently, for his kind information’s, we can say lot of movies have come up with such themes, also said in the same way repeatedly….added to this category is ‘Prem Kahani’.

Manja(Ajay Rao), a auto driver, who spends his time in front of girls college to make girls to fall in love with his friend Blade, along with other wasteful friends, for which he camp with his friends in front of a girls college everyday, then comes a Sandya(Sheela), a daughter of a bank manager(Rangayana Raghu). Sandya intends to marry a poor guy, because of her courtesy on poverty, this makes her to turns her eyes towards Manja, instead of falling in love with Blade, she falls in love with Manja. Rich bank manger, that is father of Sandya, will not allow her to marry Manja, situations makes her to marry a rich guy.

After her marriage with rich guy, she decides to commit suicide, but kind-hearted husband, help Sandya to marry her lover Manja. Then films takes to another direction, Sandya comes to know about the life without money is not possible. After losing auto rickshaw job, Manja depends on Sandya’s income, she concludes that her husband not worthy…..what happens….falls rest of the movie.

Ajay Rao acted with love, looks quiet handsome compared to is previous movies, Sheela looks good, but not in acting, Rangayana Raghu, not bad. Director R. Chandru has done his work neatly, but failed in convincing the audience in few scenes, music by Illayaraja is good in two songs, which has disappoints his fans, dialogues, editing is not at richer than scenes.

‘Prem Kahani’ is not worth watching, but can be watched once, if you are free.
