Buddivantha, Audience are not Idiots: Review

 

‘Super Hit’ was with Upendra only till his film ‘Raktha Kanniru’, but later than continuous flop made Uppi’s a flop hero, this includes Lava Kusha….Buddivantha bring back the success to Uppi.

As known this is the remake of Tamil movie ‘Nan Avanillai’. The same theme has been kept here too. He is Pancmrutha(Uppendra) who cheats four girls by marrying them, just for the sake of their money.

He will be brought into court. Another person demands that he is brother of Panchamrutha and other silly-silly things come in the way. Panchamrutha wears different getups it includes characters like Joseph Fernandis, Vijay Mittal, Samarasimha Reddy, Ranjanish, Shyamprasad and Zakhir Hussain. There names are from different religions. How Uppi managed to do is the film. Remade song ‘Ravivarmana Kunchada….’ Should not have been remade, song may loved by present teenagers, but old people may not like it. Among songs ‘Chitranna Chitranna….’ Is good, few comedy scenes, dialogues by Uppi scores and manges the audience to watch the movie till end.

Director Ramanath has chosen a story script and added masala required to present it in a different way, where Uppi has helped in this regards. Music by Vijay Anthony is not bad. Camerawork scores more marks, Acting by Uppi is superb, another break he may get. Heroines Lakshm, Pooja Gandhi, Sumkan Ranganath, Natanya, Saloni and Brunda done their works neatly. Other characters… not required here
