If you did not know, Bangalore rowdies have developed their killing techniques. Swords are not the only weapons they use. They have also started using grinding stones and animal skulls. A real life rowdy has managed to send notices to the makers of this film for using incidents from his life without permission. He might as well sue them for making rowdies look so dull and lifeless.
Apart from Kishore(who plays auto Manoja) all the other actors including the leading man Arya, show emotions on their faces for approximately 3/4 th of a second. Luckily Arya's face is half covered with his forward hanging locks and in scenes where he has to show emotions, either the shot is taken from the backside or loud music eclipses the dialogues. You are not lucky to get away from the wooden expressions of the other actors though.
As for the story, I tried hard to piece together a few lines. But unfortunately, I was unable to. The film stumbles from one corpse to the next finally tumbling down the depths of idiocy. As for the audience some of them were swaying wildly trying to avoid imaginary swords slashing around them.
There is a positive aspect of this film. If the convicts of the Parappana Agrahar Central Jail are made to watch this film, they will either go mad or commit suicide. And without rowdies, film makers like Akshaya will have no ‘real life' incidents to get inspiration from.
