Taayi a first produced movie of Sunder Raj and Pramila Joshai, have showed that it is very difficult to producer as-well-as to release it. Two years back movie has been started its shooting, but due to many problems faced in the meantime, on May 1, 2008 this film has been released. The main story deals with the problems of labourers. The story is from the book “Mother” written by an Russian writer Maxim Rorky, the main theme is that the labours will have many problems, which should be understood by the owners of it. The story starts when there is an pre-revolutionary period, the time then was ripe for revolution with liberalization and globalization of our economy, we can see that our Indian working class people has been holded by same market forces in their grips. Pramila Joshai has done the character very well, which reminds that the Mother is great in the world. Kumar Govind coming back after a years to film industry has done work neatly, same can be said to Sunder raj, Srinivas Murthy, Nandini Gowda, who are also a part of the movie, director has tried to say the theme in a simple manner. If you are a real lover of your mother please watch it.
