Yogeshwar, who shot to fame with his small but powerful role as as Loose Maada in Duniya, graduates to a full length hero in this film. Unfortunately for him, the film turns out to be one among those in long list of newcomer me-toos. The first half of the movie flatters with its unconventional story telling. It breaks away from the regular film format and with its peppy dialogues keeps the audience engaged. But five minutes into the second half, you wonder if it is the same film. Done to death formulae set in. so you have an item number, predictable turns and a gory ending. By the end of the film, you begin to forget that there was something good in the first half.

The story starts in a slum, where Nanda(Yogeshwar) is thrown out of his house by inconsiderate parents. He is offered shelter by a gang of rowdies. Enter heroine Nandita(Shwetha) who is also from a poor home. Nandiat moves away from Nanda when she presumes him to be one among the gang members. A flash back informs us that it is so because her brother too was a local gangster, who, so far presumed to be murdered by Nanda, springs back to life. The film slides from here on to its gory end.

Yogeshwar has much to learn in the acting department. He should consider an acting school before his next assignment. The deft direction is handicapped by the story that has no strength. The good music and catchy dialogues are impressive. A film that can only be a last resort on a lazy day.
