Manasugala Mathu Madhura is a wonderful feelings -Review Movie :Manasugala Maatu Madhura They are from two warring families. The families fight but the boy and girl continue to love each other, a villain is thrown in for some fights and a Shakespearean tragedy in the end. It's got all the ingredients for a perfect potboiler. Despite being so clichéd some movies with this plotline, over the years, have been able to pull it off. But not this time around. In Manasugala Mathu ……(Sagar (Anand) and Sangeeta(Haripriya) are pals from a very young age. They grow up with the idea that they are made for each other. This is shown in a school setting and is inappropriate for the younger audiences. By the time the two are actually old enough to fall in love, the families fight and the duo elope to Bangalore . Shades of Cheluvina Chittara here. The only originality the first-time director shows is in a few scenes that seem to be from his own experience. A sports tournmanet and some montage in the songs. Anand and Haripriya also debut in this film and sadly it's far from being a dream debut. There are many things in the film that are a result of shoddy work. A single person seems to have lent his voice to at least six characters, while Anand's voice changes modulation four times. The young director has a long way to go and has to refine his tastes. He also seems obsessed with toilets. Two scenes of urinating, one of zipping up the trouser, three of visiting public loos and one joke based on it, are interspersed in the film. Did award-winning cinematographer HC Venu wield the camera for this film? It is doubtful considering the lighting in some scenes and the jarring images. The songs are the saving grace of Manasugala…..at least three songs by K Kalyan(who has written the lyrics and scored the music) are worth humming. Overall, the film does not rise about the ordinary and fails to impress.
