****1/2 out of 5 Movie
Maadesha [2008] Madesha, not a Jogi person: Review Shivarjkumar fans will sure be scared, because of the story of this film. In such stories he had already acted, but the narration of the film makes the Shivarjkumar fans a dead body. He is Madesha(Shivarjkumar) who will be kept in a prison for 14 years, because of killing a person at young age, when Madesha returns from prison, his mind will be set towards becoming a ‘great’ underworld don, which is co-operated by his mother. Madesha sets many ways to kill the people this helps him to become a don within a span of time. He fights against Ashok Kumar(Ravi Kale), but fails and settles in a foreign country, from where he controls his underworld activities of Bangalore. He falls in love and gets married to the same girl. What Madesha later does is the another and important part of Madesha. Story seems simple, but the director Ravi Srivasthsa’s narration greats scariness, where he had added mother saying to become a underworld don, a minister giving lakhs to take rival to a don, continuous murders etc., etc., such things made ‘Madesha’ towards getting ‘A’ certificate. Ravi Srivatsa fight trend towards censor is continued in this film too. Coming to characters
Shivarjkumar, Ravi Belagere, Ravi Kale is good, but same can’t be said
to Sonu Bhatia. Other characters just count it. Music by Mano Murthy is average, lyrics just you will forget it, dialogue gets 70/100 marks, comedy ‘kills’ audience, apart from story line, film seems a ‘good’ and a ‘violent’ entertainer. Don’t miss, especially fans of Shivarajkumar.
