Movie : Gooli He is so fast in eliminating his rivals by the dozen that you are reminded of the butcher chopping chicken necks on a Sunday morning. He is Gooli, (Sudeep) a mass murderer no less. Endless number of screen rowdies have showed their skills in killing people. To make it look different, Gooli sports a sword that seems to be taken from the hands of a demon from a mythological film. However, the director has managed to make a rowdy out of Sudeep despite the fancy clothes and funky hairstyle. It is a film for the masses, with mass killings, a large dose of puns and an even larger screen presence of Sudeep. Gooli(Bull) is yet another story of a bad guy reforming his life after falling in love. The leading man is a terror in the underworld and his enemies are always scheming to eliminate him. Ramya(Mamta Mohandas), a college student falls in love with this rough and tough character. Gooli, knowing the reality of married lives of rowdies keeps away from her, but not for long. Gooli gives up rowdyism and gets married to Ramya. Do his rivals let Gooli lead his life is the rest of the story. Satya has managed to make the climax worthy and it is the biggest plus of the film. Stunt director Palani ad music composer Anoop's contributions makes Gooli a mass entertainer. Gooli is not a great film. But is might break the not so good run of Sudeep's recent films.
