Our Rating :- **1/2 BABA only for adults-Review Movie Baba [2008]
When you watch this film you sure feel, whether this is made for adults or children? Director says this is especially made for youths, but the youths can't digest the theme of this movie. The character of hero says to him that he will end up throwing acid on the girl. If parents watche's such themed films, really they will not let their children's to watch further such themed films. Young boy Baba(Kartik) fails in SSLC, after this ‘success' of failing in SSLC, is aim is to become an criminal, he feels criminals are more popular than any another people even after their death. Baba too gives some reasons for this. In meantime Baba falls in love with an school girl, he tries to express his love to that girl, but takes eight months to do it so. Baba's father bribes and gets an job to his son, but Baba will be busy in ‘Loving' the girl. The climax of this film is not new, but as same as the recent Kannada Film. This film has the shadow of Rajinikanth's film Baba in Tamil. Karthik and Prajna looks pretty in their roles, both of them tried to do best for the film. Director Trishul showed many scenes which adds positive points to the film, but he should not have tried such story in his first chance. Music director has given good music, 3 songs are good. Ramesh Bhat and Padmavasanthi are best in their roles. If you have an hard digestible capacity, you sure can watch 'BABA', if you fail to digest say ‘NANA' to ‘BABA'.
