*** out of 5 Movie Aakasha Gange [2008] Akasha
Gange, A river full of Fun -Review
If you are waited for this film from past 10 months, you didn't loose anything, but you go a good entertainer after. Amruthavarshini team has portrayed the same angles to this movie, and presented to audience. Sonu (Mithun) who is from Sakaleshpr, is Joint family is controlled by his aunt, who also values tradition and Bina(Chaya Sing) who is an orphaned, who are a friends in college, who also loves each other. To manage the estate in Sakelshpur, Sonu's aunt calls him to come back, Sonu will be thinking about his marriage with Bina, but he fears of his family members especially his aunt. To help Sonu and Bina, their college friends gives an idea to them, saying Bina to go to join Sonu's family by the way of music teacher. Bina wins the heart of the family members and this help Bina to marry Sonu and film ends their. Sure you will feel that there is nothing in the movie, but you will have the comedy relief from comedy king Komal, who rules first half of the film. The situation's where he tries to get the attention of his love Bina(Chaya sing) sends people to an relief world. Director Dinesh Baboo has handled the movie carefully, he should get full marks, Jayanthi acted as a aunt of Sonu is OK, Chaya Singh with her few chances in Kannada film, has done her acting awfully, Mithun also made his best attempt other characters are just supports the film to make it an complete film. Lyrics by Kalyan is average, Music by Deva is too ok, Ravi Suvarna's camerawork attracts the viewers.
If you still have the feeling of Amruthavarshini you should watch Akasha Gange, without fail.
